September's Specail Event
Well you came in to get the details on the Secret Pal event for September. That's wonderful! So let's get started explaining what this "Special Pal" event all about.
First of all to participate you must email Sharon and let her know. She will match people up and send the necessary information to you.
Well for those of you who will be participating you will definitely want to set up a "mock" email account to use just for this event. Remember you don't want your "special sis" to know who you are.
Here are links to free email services which you can sign up for.
Next thing I want to let you know is that I have set up this website through Geocities which we will all use to create webpages for our "special sis" - that is if you want to. I will provide you with the URL address and the password to get to the file manager in the letter that provides you with your "special sis's" name and e-mail address. In case you all think you will be able to find out who is doing what...wrong!!! We will be using our "special sis's" name as their webpage name. I have this all planned out. But of course I'm probably forgetting something very crucial. LOL!
If you do not know how to create webpages or need help with yours (should you wish to try) don't worry! I will be more than happy to assist in anyway I can, I will even add all your graphics, etc. where all you will have to do is do the typing if you need me too.
Ok are you ready for all the fun details? Our "Secret Sisters" will be spoiling their special pals with happy e-mails, sending them poems, virtual cards and gifts, anything you can possibly think of; but be sure to do all of this under an alias email account. Treat your "special sis" as if she were a queen (because she is at least for 2 weeks). She should be pampered and spoiled as much as possible. You should even invite other MOW members to pamper her (you know come by and sign the guestbook, send her a friendly note or card).
After the 2 weeks are up if you haven't figured out who your "secret sis" is we will reveal ourselves to those we have spoiled rotten right here. Will they be impressed, of course they will. LOL!
We will actually start the spoiling and pampering on on Friday, September 25th. Our last day of the pampering will be on Friday, October 9th. We will reveal ourselves on Saturday, October 10th.
