October is a special month in the Events area of MOW. We will be having 2 different events this month for the members to participate in.
The first event will be a Halloween Webpage Contest. What you need to do to participate in this one is create a webpage with a Halloween theme and contact Debbie advising her of the URL to the page. The last day to enter this will be October 20th so get the URLs in to Debbie ASAP. After that date, Debbie will be forwarding the list of URLs to be judged. You will also find the list of links to these sites here.
The second event this month will be a Trick or Treat scavenger hunt. We need those of you who have webpages to volunteer to hide graphics for everyone to search for. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Sharon as soon as possible so that she can send you a graphic to place on your site.
Now that we have all the graphics hid, it's time to start Trick or Treating! Here's what you need to do. First, visit the sites below and find the Treat hidden somewhere on the site. Remember you may have to search the entire site to find the treat. After you find the treat (candy) you will need to make a list of the names of each candy found. When you have the entire list (there are 59 of them) then send the list to Sharon. The first person to get the correct list of treats to Sharon first will be our winner.
